National Certificate: Grain Handling Processes NQF 3

his qualification is registered at level 3 on the national Qualifications Framework. It provides learners with the opportunity to access learning in broad Grain handling processes and practices which includes opportunities for learners to grow in the specific field.

Learners will be able to combine fundamental, core and elective unit standards in order to obtain competence linked to best practice. Learners will, once qualified and assessed as competent, be able to demonstrate competence in determining produce grade for maize, wheat, sunflower-seed, sorghum, control stock, combat contamination in grain, providing customer service, inspect stored grain and complete sales transactions. Learners will also demonstrate an understanding of the Grain handling industry.
